National Tree Week

Join Dogs Trust Ireland for National Tree Week: A Special Biodiversity Project! 🌳
What’s the project?
This year, we are celebrating our incredible volunteers by planting trees on-site to create a more enriching environment for our dogs and community. This initiative provides a wonderful opportunity for our amazing team of staff and volunteers to come together and work toward a greener future. Our goal is to transform our current 3-acre dog exercise space into an enriched biodiversity space, complete with trees, walkways and benches.
When is it taking place?
The tree planting project will take place over three days, the 10th, 12th & 13th of March 2025, with each session lasting 4 hours from 10am-2pm. We plan to plant a total of 50.
Who are we looking for?
Do you have a passion for dog welfare? Are you interested in gardening or eager to participate in a social project that will create a lasting impact on the environment? Dogs Trust Ireland is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us in a meaningful project at our Dublin Rehoming Centre.
