Rehoming Advisor – Reception

Temporary (1 year Fixed Term), 24 hours

Dogs Trust Ireland CLG is currently seeking to recruit a Rehoming Advisor - Reception. This role will provide exceptional customer service and support to visitors, adopters, and members of the public, ensuring a positive experience at every stage of interaction with the Rehoming Centre.
They will be responsible for providing a warm and approachable welcome in a busy, fast-paced environment while carrying out a variety of administrative tasks such as maintaining accurate records, processing adoption payments, and supporting rehoming activities.
The Rehoming Advisor will respond to Dogs Trust customers, supporters, adopters, and members of the public via multiple channels including, but not limited to outbound calls and multiple email channels.
The role also involves ensuring the reception area is clean, well-presented, and stocked with necessary materials.
Additionally, they will work in accordance with Dogs Trust’s codes of practice, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines, and ensuring high standards of service to help dogs find their forever homes.
The successful candidate will be a resilient, self-motivated, and empathetic individual with a passion for dogs and the mission of Dogs Trust. Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills are essential, as is the ability to multitask and provide exceptional customer service in a team environment.
