Valentino is ready to steal your heart! This charming little terrier is a joy to meet. He adores meeting new people and is instantly friendly to everyone. He loves a cuddle and will cosy up with you at any chance. He loves to play with squeaky toys and will chase them around for hours of play time. He is still a young boy and we are not sure if he has gotten the chance to live in a home before, so he will need some help settling in and learning the ropes. Valentino loves food and takes treats very gently from your hand. He is an active little man who loves his walks and having a good sniff in new areas while exploring. Valentino isn't the biggest fan of other dogs, preferring to have human companions. He could live with older children and would need someone home often initially to help him learn to spend time alone gradually without getting too worried. Valentino is just bursting with love and waiting for his dream family to come meet him so he can charm them just like he has to all his carers in Dogs Trust!

Now you've decided that you're ready to welcome a new furry friend in your life, it's time to meet the dogs available for adoption.

You can search for a dog based on your location and lifestyle. We have dogs available for adoption across the whole of Ireland. While some dogs are based at our rehoming centre in Dublin, many of our dogs live all over Ireland with foster carers or their current owners until they can find their forever homes. The best way to find out how you can meet them is to fill out an application.

If you are hoping to adopt a puppy, we're happy to discuss this as part of the application process. Please bear in mind that we don’t usually add their rehoming profiles to our website as puppies grow and change in appearance so quickly.
