Lexus is a gentle and sensitive soul. She can take some time to warm up to new people as the world can be a little scary for her. Coming to Dogs Trust has been a big change for her so she is slowly coming out of her shell and getting to know all her new carers. Lexus loves treats so this definitely helps when winning her over! She finds a lot of comfort in having a similar sized dog by her side, and their confidence helps her in building her own bravery. Lexus would love a home with older teens or adults who will allow her time to adjust and will need a confident doggy friend to show her the ropes. A fully secure garden will be great for Lexus to explore while she learns to walk on lead. Once she feels safe in her new home, we know Lexus' true personality will shine through and she will make a wonderful addition to her new family.

Now you've decided that you're ready to welcome a new furry friend in your life, it's time to meet the dogs available for adoption.

You can search for a dog based on your location and lifestyle. We have dogs available for adoption across the whole of Ireland. While some dogs are based at our rehoming centre in Dublin, many of our dogs live all over Ireland with foster carers or their current owners until they can find their forever homes. The best way to find out how you can meet them is to fill out an application.

If you are hoping to adopt a puppy, we're happy to discuss this as part of the application process. Please bear in mind that we don’t usually add their rehoming profiles to our website as puppies grow and change in appearance so quickly.
