About Trooper

Trooper is a gentle sweet soul who has not had an easy start in life. When Trooper arrived at Dogs Trust, he had a badly injured leg. After much dedicated care from the vet team, his front leg had to be removed to save his life. Despite this difficult experience, this has not stopped Trooper from being a super affectionate boy, full of love to give. He adores human company and would need someone home often with him to help him continue his recovery and learn how to settle in the home by himself over time. Trooper just wants to cuddle on the couch all day wrapped in blankets and have small gentle walks every now and then. He would be best suited as the only dog in the home and could live with older children who will enjoy his chilled out approach to life.
