Indigo is a spirited and super intelligent dog with boundless energy. He adores toys more than anything and is always up for a game of fetch. Indigo is still a young boy who is eager to please and would make a brilliant hiking buddy for anyone looking to get more active! After walks, he is a true cuddle bug who looks to his people for reassurance and love. Indigo can be a social butterfly at times. While he has a lot of eagerness to see and meet other dogs, he doesn't always know how to do this politely so he has been working on this while in Dogs Trust and has made huge progress! Indigo's ideal walk would be in quiet areas with little traffic so a home in these areas would be a perfect match. He loves to be the baby of the home so he would prefer to be the only pet to a home with older teens or adults. After having some time to settle in, Indigo could cope well with being home alone while his humans are in work. Indigo is often overlooked but this young boy has so much love to give and we know he will be a wonderful dog in the home who will always keep you entertained and out exploring!

Now you've decided that you're ready to welcome a new furry friend in your life, it's time to meet the dogs available for adoption.

You can search for a dog based on your location and lifestyle. We have dogs available for adoption across the whole of Ireland. While some dogs are based at our rehoming centre in Dublin, many of our dogs live all over Ireland with foster carers or their current owners until they can find their forever homes. The best way to find out how you can meet them is to fill out an application.

If you are hoping to adopt a puppy, we're happy to discuss this as part of the application process. Please bear in mind that we don’t usually add their rehoming profiles to our website as puppies grow and change in appearance so quickly.
